Shri S Supongmeren Jamir is a prominent political figure affiliated with the Indian National Congress (INC) in Nagaland. He was born on October 25, 1963, in Longsa Village to Late Shilumanyang and Alemsola Jamir. His educational background includes matriculating from Ongpangkong High School in Mokokchung in 1979, completing his graduation in 1987 from the Faculty of Arts College in Mokokchung, and obtaining an LLB in 1993 from Law College, Mokokchung.
