Shri Bidyut Baran Mahato, born on February 15, 1963, in Krishnapur, Seraikela Kharsawan, Jharkhand, is a prominent Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Jamshedpur constituency, a position he has held since 2014. His political journey began earlier when he was elected to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from the Baharagora constituency, serving from 2009 to 2014
